How To Apply

For Baseline Protection:

• Bring wood condition and appearance to desired level (sand if required)
• Clean surface with wood cleaner to remove oils, grease and other contaminants embedded in the wood
• Spray, wipe, roll or brush Teak sealer onto surface at recommended yield
• Allow for overnight cure before traffic
• Do not allow surface to be saturated with water for 12 hours, this includes rain or dew (after 1 hour surface can be covered with plastic)

Robust Protection:

• Bring wood condition and appearance to desired level (sand if required)
• Clean surface with wood cleaner to remove oils, grease and other contaminants embedded in the wood
• Spray, wipe, roll or brush first coat of Teak sealer onto surface at recommended yield
• Wait 2 hours, do not allow surface to be saturated with water
• Perform light sanding to smooth down raised wood fibers
• Spray, wipe, roll or brush subsequent coats of Teak sealer onto surface at recommended yield
• Repeat steps until desired finish is achieved (typical maximum is 3 coats)
• Allow for overnight cure before traffic
• Do not allow surface to be saturated with water for 12 hours, this includes rain or dew (after 1 hour surface can be covered with plastic)

Maintenance

• Use non-acidic wood cleaner every 6-12 months to refresh the surface

Surface Area Coverage

5-Gallon = 1000-1250 sq.ft.
1-GALLON = 200-250 sq.ft. (Coverage on Porous Wood, 175-225 SqFt per gallon. 1 coat clear)
